Courtesy Visit from Kyambogo College School

As part of efforts to strengthen academic excellence and organizational effectiveness, a team from the college school of Kyambogo university paid us a courtesy visit to benchmark best practices in academic programming, student leadership, and institutional development.

Discussions focused on curriculum delivery, student support systems, research and innovation, quality assurance, mentorship programs, leadership development, and the integration of technology in teaching and learning as covered by our theme of the year Smart Learning and teaming up for excellence.

Key lessons from the visit included the importance of structured academic mentorship, continuous curriculum review, evidence-based decision-making, strong partnerships with industry and development partners, and active student participation in academic and co-curricular activities.

The benchmarking exercise highlighted several practices that can be adapted to improve academic performance and institutional growth. Recommendations included strengthening mentorship programs, promoting collaborative research, enhancing digital learning platforms, encouraging continuous professional development for staff, and fostering a culture of academic excellence.
