In our continued efforts to strengthen academic performance under the New Competency Based Curriculum, our teachers are undergoing a capacity building training under the theme: “Integrating ICT in Teaching and Learning.”
The training, guided by our annual theme “Smart Learning and Teaming Up for Excellence,” is taking place at the Telepresence Centre, Senate Building, Makerere University, and is facilitated by the Centre for Teaching Support.
Teachers are being equipped with practical skills on how to effectively use digital tools in the preparation and delivery of competency based learning. The training focuses on the development and use of lesson plans, schemes of work, records of work, and other teaching tools that support effective classroom instruction in the competency based pedagogy.
We extend our appreciation to the teachers, PTA, and Board of Governors for the continued support towards academic excellence. Special appreciation goes to the school administration for initiating this timely and impactful training programme.
