In a vibrant and spiritually uplifting ceremony, Makerere College School’s chapel—fondly known as MACOS Chapel—welcomed a new era of worship and musical expression with the arrival of brand-new musical instruments. The event marked a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to nurturing both spiritual and artistic excellence.
The momentous occasion for worship and musical excellence began with a heartfelt invocation, followed by a procession of students and staff to where the new instruments were beautifully displayed. Among the additions were modern keyboards, acoustic and bass guitars, and full drums.
The chapel choir, accompanied by the new instruments, performed a series of worship songs that filled the space with joy and reverence. The harmonies, now richer and more dynamic, showcased the transformative power of music in spiritual gatherings.
The chapel leadership expressed gratitude to the school administration for their support in enhancing the chapel’s musical capabilities attributing the new instruments to elevating the school’s spiritual and artistic traditions.
Students were visibly excited, with many sharing how the new instruments would inspire them to explore their musical talents and contribute more actively to chapel services.
The event concluded with a blessing of the instruments and a communal song that brought everyone together in celebration.
